To understand talent management, think of it as a business strategy that will help you to retain and grow your best employees. It’s a business strategy that, in order to function properly, must be completely integrated into your organization. In an effective talent management program, attracting and retaining talented employees requires ongoing development opportunities that reflect the organization’s needs, as well the needs of each employee on an individual level. When handled strategically, talent management programs allow every employee to see where he or she fits within the organization - and are designed to grow that employee to his or her highest potential.

Work Institute provides the research and the results you need to know about your employees. Our talent management survey not only uncovers accurate answers about how your employees feel about their jobs and your company - but also, why they feel the way that they do. Using only a 15 question strategy, we survey your workforce and are able to unveil valid answers about what motivates your top-performing employees, what discourages them, and most importantly - WHY.

Think of your organization’s missions, vision, goals and values - now think of those points pulsating through your workforce. An efficient talent management program enables every employee to understand their role in the company, and to feel as though they are part of something bigger than their current job.

Businesses who invest in their people reap the benefits. According to studies completed by the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), high performing organizations tend to integrate talent management components more than low performing organizations. Companies with strong talent management programs have lower turnover and lower absenteeism. By understanding and implementing the right talent management strategies, you’ll be better able to understand your employees, and how to grow them within your organization - and significantly reduce your internal turnover costs.

Once you become a partner of Work Institute we assign you a Client Services representative. This person will be with you every step of the way – from identifying who needs to be interviewed, crafting the specific study questions, gathering and providing data analysis to building a change management plan to address specific issues and meet predefined business goals.

Your Client Services representative will become an integral part of your internal team by providing research, data, analysis and recommendations along the entire feedback cycle. Their entire focus is your company’s engagement and retention strategies. They find what isn’t working and get it working again saving your hundreds of thousands of dollars in turnover costs.

Once we get the interviews and surveys in place, your Client Services representative will work with you to summarize the major 3-4 trends in bullet form with the supporting raw data as a reference. We will regularly meet with you and any key leaders to discuss what we’ve discovered and will work with you to build a plan of action to make key changes.

Our reporting system is designed to give access to whomever you deem necessary.  Sometimes all organizational leaders want and need to know the research. Sometimes it’s better to have one key internal person managing the process. Whatever the request, we will provide access at no additional charge.

We use our combined experience of close to 30 years in human resources and our ability to capture the specific data you need to design thorough action plans to solve HR issues. For example, just by solving simple issues in recruitment results in hiring the right top talent for your open positions. Hiring the right top talent means reducing turnover significantly. This is what consulting with data can do for you.

Work Institute provides an unbiased look into your talent management progam. We help you to develop the tools you need to ensure you’re not only attracting and hiring the right talent, but you’re also developing that talent and retaining it.
