Let’s face it, as a rule most companies still struggle to recognize people as a business asset and human resources struggle even more to help their companies know how. We keep talking about “people as our greatest asset,” yet we often continue treating our talent base as a commodity – to be used up, disposed of, and (if available and affordable) replenished.
