Yes. We have Guitar Hero in our office. This is because we listened – and our employees said they wanted work to be financially rewarding, provide growth opportunities, and FUN! We have birthday cake on birthdays, we have off-site happy hours, we have coffee breaks mid-morning with the entire staff and we make ourselves talk about things not work related!
This is because we’re focused on being a great place to work. And we achieve that through listening to what our employees need. For example, our VP of Marketing has four school aged sons that she wants to have breakfast and dinner with – so she has certain hours she works in the office and then at home. One of our Client Services Directors needed to move out of state to finish a degree – so she works remotely and visits us a few times a year as necessary. And our Manager of Data Analysis worked on the road recently as he traveled to help his Dad win a city council election.
